Pervert strikes again in Kingsport parking lot

Oct. 28

While a woman was being taken to jail for violation of probation, she claimed she wasn't feeling well. The reason: An ounce of meth her boyfriend had placed in her vagina. The deputy didn't observe any signs of distress and they continued on their way, but the woman became more adamant and screamed, "I know I have meth in my vagina because I put it there!" A subsequent check at the hospital found no drugs, and she admitted to lying. Along with the original warrant, she was additionally charged with filing a false police report.

Oct. 29

A Bluff City man called police on a woman who had "pointed a gun at him." Deputies found the suspect, 43, on the floor and intoxicated, while a silver handgun was lying on the couch. Questioning of the victim, 59, revealed the female was taking care of him due to medical issues. After she made several sexual advances, according to his account, he "eventually gave in" and they had intercourse. Afterward, an argument erupted between the pair — allegedly about her "bringing a bad element into his life" — and she retrieved the firearm. She was booked into jail for aggravated assault.

Kingsport Police Department

Oct. 28

An employee of CVS on East Stone Drive called police about a woman who "fell asleep in the aisle." When an officer arrived, the suspect claimed to be tired from working late. However, a check of her vehicle found rubber tubing and a glass pipe in plain view, while a subsequent search located several illegal items: vials containing a "white crystal" substance, three baggies of pot, and 10 pills. She was arrested on multiple drug charges.

Oct. 29

Animal cruelty was reported at an apartment on Larry Neil Way. A woman was evicted from the residence three days earlier but left her dog behind with no food or water. It was relocated to the Sullivan County Animal Shelter.

Oct. 30

For the second time in two months, police were alerted to indecent exposure at the Kingsport Pavilion. An 18-year-old female said a man pulled beside her, then "lifted up his lower body … positioned his hips towards her. " Before he drove away in his BMW, she saw his genitalia fully exposed while he fondled himself. A nearly identical incident — and same suspect and vehicle — was reported at the shopping center in August, when a woman spotted a man "actively and openly masturbating" behind the wheel of his car. An investigation is continuing with charges pending.
