Craig Allen Carlson, 57, of South Ogden, Utah, passed from this life on May 18, 2018, at his home in Memphis, TN, with his loving partner, Melissa Lingva and his love of life, "Karma" his mini Chihuahua, by his side. He passed due to cardiomiyopathy.
Craig was born on September 12, 1960, in Anaheim, CA, the second eldest child of Clifford L. Carlson and Fredericka A. White. He had two beautiful daughters, Mandy Dryman Bagwell and Chalese Stevens; and three grandchildren: Harlie, Skyler and Shianne (the children of Mandy Bagwell). Craig was preceded in death by his step-mom, Bonita Carlson; and step-dad, Gerry White.

Craig married Kathy J. Chandler and they later divorced.
Craig settled in San Diego, California, from 1998 to 2013. He then came home for a short time to reconnect with his Utah family.
When Craig was a kid, he loved to go fishing, camping, hunting, boating and motorcycle riding with his family. He had a love for animals and always wanted to be a veterinarian.
Craig was baptized at a young age by his grandpa, Reverend Schultz in Cascade Lakes, ID. For a time, he was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Layton. He won a "fill the pew" contest and received a beautiful Bible that he was so proud of.
He was diagnosed with congenital heart disease seven years ago and was given a pacemaker.
Craig is survived by his two daughters, Mandy and Chalese; two granddaughters and one grandson; his parents; brothers, Ken (Natalie) and Mark (Tina); his sisters, Stephanie and Jennifer; seven nieces and four nephews.
A tribute for Craig in his memory will be held at Washington Heights Church, 1770 East 6200 South, Ogden, UT, on July 28, 2018, at 2 p.m. followed by a light meal.
